About

I am just a person who wants to see a better future for his children and for all before I leave this life. I am married to my best friend, Sara, who has been my strength and support through times that I did not even realize I needed her. My 7 beautiful children range in ages from 19 to 4 years old and we recently became grandparents. From oldest to youngest we have Damian and Lexi, who are the parents of our gorgeous granddaughter Cora, Madison 17, Katie 13, Travis 8, Tommy 7, Patrick 6, and Joseph 4.
I started this website because a few years ago my family faced some decisions and were very much uninformed about what we were facing. Our two daughters were experiencing some rashes and repeatedly upset stomachs that Dr. did not really have any answers for. After several appointments the Dr. wanted them to be on one a day pills for their stomachs as well as two different pills for the rashes. Well “BULLSHIT” that is just crazy. “How long”, I asked. Everyone shrugs. So until it worked I guess, but I am a little too impatient to wait till some chemical works on my kids. This was before I knew the truth. Before I woke up. I researched, read, read some more, checked to see if the rest of you were friggin nuts, and finally came to the conclusion that I would like to try eating healthy, truly natural, non-GMO, organic foods in my house. Let us see how that goes. Food is medicine made sense to me. The result was our daughter’s rashes disappearing and their stomach problems clearing up. I now knew that I had to share this great news and help to inform others of the dangers lurking out there within their favorite grocery stores. After some more research I found out about GMOs, vaccines, and the disgustingly diverse world of Big Money, Politics, and the corruption that seems to surround most politicians and big corporations.
Finding out about all of this was too much for me to not get involved, so after some real thought on the matter I changed my career course by going back to college to acquire my communications degree so that I would be able to write about what I thought on many of these subjects. So many of them are intertwined together in a variety of ways that makes it seem as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel some times, but great things are not accomplished overnight and my families way to get involved is www.Sustainablystated.com.
Sustainablystated is dedicated to spreading the news that the mainstream media sheds little light on. We believe that many of the issues in our society are interrelated, but tackled singularly most of the time. Creating change will take many of us working together and mostly fighting uphill battles, but we can do it!

Working together, we can change the world.
