I am just a Dad who wants to see a better future for his children and for all children before I leave this world.

I am married to my best friend, Sara, who has been my strength and support through some very tough times in my life. My 7 beautiful children range in ages from nearly 21 to 5 years old and we recently became grandparents. From oldest to youngest we have Damian and Lexi, who are the parents of our gorgeous granddaughter Cora, who is now 18 months old. Madison 18 is going to attend the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown (UPJ) this fall. Katie 14 is going to start high school this fall. Travis is 9 and a great artist. Tommy is 8 and a great baseball player. Patrick is 7 and wants to be a boxer. Last, but definitely not least, Joseph is 5 and going to be starting kindergarten this fall.

Both my wife and I are in college online at Grand Canyon University (GCU). My wife is currently in her second year of her Master’s degree in sociology and I am currently one class away from my Bachelor’s degree in communications. I will also be going for a Master’s degree as well.

We do our best to eat organically and do whatever small things we can to help the world become a Greener place to live in.

This blog, DaddiosBlog, will be what I do from day to day such as cooking, playing with the kids, and how I am doing my best to develop a writing career. I will share with all of you how handle being a stay at home Dad as well as how I have gone about trying to develop a writing career, the mistakes I make, the successes I have, and you will be able to follow what I write for who, when and where as it happens.
